Hattie Cooke is a critically-acclaimed songwriter and award-winning screenwriter.


Hattie Cooke is a solo artist, composer and producer and up-and-coming screenwriter who has been writing and performing since the age of 17.
In 2016 she released her eponymous debut album with Third Kind Records. It was reissued on vinyl June 10th 2022.
In 2019, Hattie made a departure from her lo-fi/folk roots to release her first instrumental album, 'The Sleepers' on Spun Out of Control. Its critical and commercial popularity cemented her position as 'one to watch' on the U.K electronic music scene.
Hattie's third album, 'Bliss Land' received a Dinked Edition and was released June 25th 2021 to critical acclaim. The Dinked Edition sold out in 4 hours and subsequently reached #12 in the indie charts, featuring highly in many 'best of 2021' lists including Electronic Sound Magazine and Resident Records.
On June 26th 2022, she won 'Best Short Screenplay' at the Kingston International Film Festival for her script 'Hocknord' which has been funded and produced by Blue Elephant Pictures in association with the festival.
Also in 2022, she was selected as one of 25 rising film makers to participate in 'Film Makers 25', a mentoring scheme supported by BFI, Channel 4, and The National Lottery to help emerging film makers break into the industry.
In 2023 she was accepted for the 'Beyond Brontës Scheme' in association with Screen Yorkshire.  As part of the scheme, her script adaptation of 'The Confessions of Fannie Langton' was selected for production.
Hattie was awarded a Distinction on the MA Screenwriting course at the Northern Film School in 2023.
She is currently working on the soundtrack for the upcoming indie feature 'Oubliette', directed by Raphael Martinez.
